Objectives: 1) Develop a form which at the same time is comfortable to hold during the process of use (ergonomics) and is effective (functional) and formally (sculpturally) communicates its purpose and desirability. 2) Experience the qualities inherent in the material and to learn to strive for excellence in craft.
Watering Can
I designed and fabricated a watering device that is useful and attractive, focusing on industrial design and ergonomics. It holds ~½ gallon of water. It is comfortable to hold during transport and use and is also versatile so that the user can hold it in multiple configurations.
