I believe in the value of sharing through stories... here’s mine:

I’ve always had a big goal: to make people’s lives better. Growing up, I wanted to be a doctor— as a science-minded child, it seemed like a natural way to do just that as a profession. Finishing my freshman year in college, I realized that I could strive to impact people’s lives through many other professions while also incorporating my other strengths including: problem solving and expressing my creative side. This led me on a path to studying engineering and product design, where I’ve also had the opportunity to incorporate my interests in medical devices, assistive technology, and healthcare.

I completed a master’s degree in engineering through the Integrated Product Design (IPD) program at the University of Pennsylvania in 2019. IPD merges the disciplines of design, engineering, and business, emphasizing a human-centered design process to solve problems and create new products. Previously, I received my bachelor’s in engineering from Penn, studying Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Entrepreneurship.

My work is grounded in research and driven by empathy. I’m always seeking design opportunities that have potential to meaningfully impact people’s lives and equalize opportunities.

Of note-- I run on coffee and am always on the lookout for a great coffee shop. In my free time, you can find me snapping photos, running, baking, or endeavoring to learn something new!
